Welcome to Les Mistons Studio.

My name is Cleo, a passionate North Rhine Westphalia photographer based near Essen, Germany

After graduating from Vanderbilt University with double majors in Cinema and Media Arts and Cellular and Molecular Biology, I embarked on a year-long journey as an independent photographer and filmmaker. I believe that photography shall go beyond clicking the shutter. Rather, I dedicate to preserve your memories through my lens, and transform them into everlasting treasures that you and your loved ones can revisit and relive.

My Approach

My photography eschews heavy editing, opting instead to uncover and highlight the inherent beauty and authenticity of ordinary life through a candid lens. Inspired by Truffaut, Wong Kar-wai, and Bergman, my style leans towards a cinematic, storytelling aesthetic.

Areas Served

While I am primarily based in the Greater Philadelphia area, including Main Line, South Jersey, and Delaware, I welcome inquiries from other regions such as the DMV and New York. My work often takes me to these areas, and I am more than willing to meet clients wherever their stories lead.

02. Time to Plan

Let’s chat about your vision!

Before the photoshoot, I absolutely want to be involved in all the discussions. Don't hold back, because the more you share with me, the more I can help bring your vision to life: whether it's a leisurely family walk on a Saturday summer morning with sunlight filtering through the leaves, or a cozy Friday winter night snuggled with your loved ones under a blanket, with the shadow of the dark blue night lying in your front yard, let’s work together to document these precious moments!

03. Booking

Once we've sorted out all the details and chosen the right package for you, I’ll send a contract and collect a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your date on my calendar.

Once they are all done, you're officially booked! Just leave everything else to me and enjoy the rest of your day (wink).

04. Your Day!

We show up and nail it!

I'm super easy going, so during the photoshoot, I want you to be your authentic selves. I'm here to do all the rest of the work.

Don't worry if you’re camera shy, I've definitely been there. So I will do everything to make you feel comfortable, give you enough space and time, and make sure we’re all having fun : D

05. Show the World

I know you're excited to see your photos, so I'll provide a few sneak peeks roughly within a week after your session. The remainder will be collected after the delivery of the previews

And guess what, your full gallery will be delivered within 2 - 3 weeks !! It’ll be delivered through an online password-protected gallery with unlimited download option.
